  • 800 Engine: New, powerful liquid-cooled 800 Twin engine, with EFI for fast starts and consistent performance at high altitudes and in extreme temperatures.
  • PVT Transmission: Dual-sensing Polaris Variable Transmission responds to both engine RPM and vehicle torque load for seamless response to changing off-road conditions
  • On-Demand AWD: Automatically engages true AWD when the rider needs more forward traction, delivering full torque to all six wheels. Reverts to 4WD (rear wheels) when AWD is no longer needed.
  • Independent Suspension: MacPherson front struts provide 8.2 in. (20.8 cm) travel. IRS has 6 in. (15.5 cm) of center travel and 12 in. (20.8 cm) of rear travel
  • Shaft Drive: Rugged drive train features 6-wheel shaft drive
  • Active Descent Control: Provides 4-wheel braking when vehicle is in AWD, works together with Sportsman's Engine Braking System (EBS) to give optimum control when moving down hills.
  • Front Cargo Box: Largest of any ATV. Lets you carry loads of gear yet still access it even with items tied down on top
  • Single-Lever Brakes: like all Sportsman ATVs, single lever makes braking easy, activates hydraulic disc brakes at all wheels
  • Heavy-Duty Hitch: Gives the Sportsman 6x6 the versatility to handle towed loads up to 1,500 lbs. (680 kg)
  • Dumping Cargo Box: Rugged, composite cargo box carries up to 800 lbs. (362.9 kg) and uses a gas-assist design to make dumping heavy loads easier
